Some cultures feel that the Azalea symbols taking care of yourself and those around you. I have a teen that is like that. Unfortunately, the people she is taking care of do not reciprocate. We are learning all the hard things about friendships at 15. Groups of 3 best friends never seem to last for the long haul. Usually, one is always getting left out or even ganged up on when little petty arguments arise. I have tried to explain that friendships early on in life rarely last through adult hood, these girls will eventually just become a memory so don't worry about it, but that is hard when they are in the moment living it. As I drove home after school drop off I past an Azalea in my yard. Its been there for years but for some reason the color this year is just really standing out. We are moving soon after living in our home for 20+ years. Maybe that is why everything is starting to stand out to me more than usual.
